Upper Lye revisited

It had been 6 years since we last cleared this path at Upper Lye and it was high time we did it again.

Setting off from the road we came across evidence of a new kissing gate looking for all the world like a french pissoire - Mike duly posed.  

Then we went a bit further north and set about clearing the pathway all the way to the field.

 The whole job took about 2½ hours, but well worth the effort.

Bucknell - replace wooden field gate.

We met up with Paul Butter from Shropshire Council, and the three of us set off over the fields to replace a field gate that had seen better days.

In the event it only took about an hour but a job well done for all that.
